Born and raised in Key West, Florida, Austin has spent his entire life on these waters. He started Wrecked Charters to share his passion for the ocean and give guests an authentic Key West experience on the water—a true local offering a genuine local perspective and creating a trip to remember. With over 30 years of local experience, Austin has been spearfishing and fishing the waters off Key West for as long as he can remember.
Powell assists with spearfishing and diving operations and has spent years pursuing fish along the reefs and shipwrecks off Key West. He’s also well-versed in the commercial side of lobstering and spearfishing, and he’s proficient in the water—spotting the right fish and lobsters, helping load spearguns, and ensuring everyone stays safe.
