Why choose between spearing fish or relaxing on a sandbar when you can do both? This combo trip splits the day between spearfishing on the reefs and anchoring on a beautiful sandbar for swimming and relaxing. It's the ultimate Key West, Florida day on the water — and honestly, one of the most fun trips we run.
Captain Austin knows exactly which reefs are producing and which sandbars are worth the anchor drop. You'll spend the first part of the day hunting — targeting hogfish, grouper, snapper, and whatever's in season — then kick back on a gorgeous flat with crystal-clear water and cold drinks. Zero agenda. Just vibes.

It depends on the trip length and how the fishing is going. Typically we'll spend the first half of the trip spearfishing the reefs, then head to a sandbar to anchor up, swim, and enjoy the rest of the day. If the fish are biting, we'll stay longer; if the sandbar is calling, we'll roll with that. Captain Austin reads the day and keeps everyone stoked.
Nope. You need to be a comfortable swimmer, but zero spearfishing experience is required. Our dive guide will walk you through everything before you hit the water — how to load the gun, how to aim, what to look for on the reef. First-timers do it all the time and love it.
Absolutely — this is a private charter, so we run it however works best for your group. Some guests spear, some snorkel, some stay on the boat and enjoy the ride. No pressure, no rules. Snorkel gear is included for everyone, so you can watch the action underwater even if you're not hunting.
